World Cancer Research Fund is the world’s leading authority on research into the links between diet, weight, physical activity and cancer. We translate this research into 10 cancer prevention recommendations which are proven to reduce people’s risk of developing about a third of the most common cancers including breast, prostate and bowel.

Head of Health Information

We are seeking a Head of Health Information to lead World Cancer Research Fund UK’s Health Information department and to deliver our health promotion and engagement programmes to achieve our goal of reducing the number of people who are diagnosed with a preventable cancer.
Your experience may have been gained within a health promotion role, or profession, allied to public health or behaviour change. You will be comfortable developing and implementing strategic plans, and understand the need to evaluate and promote the impact of our work. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities effectively. Experience in managing information for a professional or public audience, ideally in the health arena, is desirable. You will also have experience of supervising staff and be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in nutrition, dietetics, public health or health promotion.
With strong people management and team-building skills, you will be responsible for line managing three members of staff.
