Deciding to walk instead of taking public transport might be something people do to save money, but it could also be helping to prevent cancer.

In the news for physical activity and cancer risk

We issued a press release today about how 10,000 breast and bowel cancer cases could be prevented through regular physical activity.

The story has had some great coverage, with eight national newspapers printing articles about it, including the Daily Express and the Daily Telegraph.

It was also a story on Sky News this morning, which included a snippet of an interview they did with me yesterday.

Hopefully, all this coverage will help raise awareness that regular physical activity reduces risk of cancer.
