Great South Run for charity
If you like the idea of taking part in a run to raise money for charity, why not do the Great South Run to raise money for World Cancer Research Fund?
The 10-mile run in Portsmouth is a fantastic event and this year it will be held on October 24.
As well as being a tough challenge, it is also a lot of fun with a fantastic atmosphere.
And if people do the Great South Run in support of WCRF UK, the money they raise will help us continue with our cancer prevention work in funding scientific research and raising awareness that about a third of the most common cancers could be prevented through diet, physical activity and weight.
Everyone doing the Great South Run in support of WCRF UK will get a running vest, a training plan and nutritional advice, as well as a fund-raising pack.
